Provide general assistance to the Contracts Administrator to ensure timely delivery of all project requirements in terms of Contracts Administration.
Reponsibilities are (but not limited to):
- Provide general assistance to the Contracts Administrator on the following tasks in line with the project requirements:
- All aspects of contract management
- Guidance of claims from a contractual point of view
- Monitoring of Contractor’s insurance policies and Contractor’s bonds and guarantees
- Checking the competence and suitability of the major sub-contractors and suppliers the contractors proposes to engage
- Evaluation on requests for time extensions and/or additional costs
- Preparation and Monitoring of Monthly Payment Certificates
- Advises in respect of contractual implications arising during the implementation of works
- Monitoring of Document Control, through the Project Document Control Officer/Secretary
- Prepare Minutes of the Meetings
- Other duties may be assigned
