Assistant Contracts Administrator

Provide general assistance to the Contracts Administrator to ensure timely delivery of all project requirements in terms of Contracts Administration.

Reponsibilities are (but not limited to):

  1. Provide general assistance to the Contracts Administrator on the following tasks in line with the project requirements:
    1. All aspects of contract management
    2. Guidance of claims from a contractual point of view
    3. Monitoring of Contractor’s insurance policies and Contractor’s bonds and guarantees
    4. Checking the competence and suitability of the major sub-contractors and suppliers the contractors proposes to engage
    5. Evaluation on requests for time extensions and/or additional costs
    6. Preparation and Monitoring of Monthly Payment Certificates
    7. Advises in respect of contractual implications arising during the implementation of works
    8. Monitoring of Document Control, through the Project Document Control Officer/Secretary
    9. Prepare Minutes of the Meetings
    10. Other duties may be assigned
